Tonight at Nigel Betancourt’s legendary Piccadilly Club in Hollywood the lives of celebrities and other desperate people will intersect.
Tonight, America’s sweetheart, will be blackmailed, the cinema’s leading man will do anything to save his crown, a feared director will try to overcome his insecurities, a super model will agree to have sex, a rock star will be frozen, an actress will stop denying her talent, a boxing emcee will be brought to his knees, a rock band will cut school, a young stud will become an actor, a record tycoon will flex his muscles, an evil talent agent will conspire, a country singer will want to go home, a girl will become a boy and illegal immigrants will be discovered. There are Korean gangs, Latvian gangs, The Immigration service, the secret service, $1.5 million in cash, two million in diamonds, treachery, betrayal, cowardice, bravery, honor, nobility and did I mention there is music too. Lots and lots of music.
Tonight the private struggles of very public people will play out at the Piccadilly, and the Master of Ceremonies who will touch everyone’s lives is Nigel Betancourt owner of The Piccadilly. Friend to the famous, famous with his friends. Tonight he will risk the Piccadilly Club itself to protect the people he cares about the most.
Tonight dreams will be realized, hopes dashed and dangers, fears and realities faced.
Tonight all this will come to pass in just a few desperate, tempestuous hours, and at the end it will be the Piccadilly Club that has the final say as the musical planets align, and a new star is born on the stage of the legendary Piccadilly Club and begins to shine on winners and losers alike, giving them all hope for a better tomorrow.
